Confessions
Hi guys, on this blog you might get to know about how I react to the situation that I'll write about. Have fun!
A friend of mine committed a crime. I promised her not to tell anyone but I discovered that an innocent person has been accused of the crime. I begged her to give herself up to the police. But she refuses and reminds me of my promise.
If you were my friend, you would know that I am not that nice. I should report her to the police, mainly because she must make herself responsible for what she did. It's unfair that one innocent person went to prison instead of the real criminal. You can't run away from your problems your entire life, at some point, you have to face them. And that's what I want her to do.
I know that I promised her not to tell anyone but promises are meant to be broken, aren't they? No one can deny this. I'm pretty sure everyone made a promise once but sadly, they broke it. It's just how life works.
Maybe the police can suspect me and I would have a punishment for not telling the truth on time, but I wouldn't mind if we get justice. My friend would get mad at me, but I wouldn't call her a "friend" anymore.
I think hiding the truth is not always good because, at a certain point in life, it'll be revealed.
Everyone would do what I did, am I right? Or you wouldn't? Leave some comments so I can know what you think!

I wouldn't because promises must be true and lasting
ReplyDeleteI think it is an excellent answer, also it means that the person who answered this question is an honest and caring person, but above all with many christian values.
ReplyDeleteI am convinced with what you did and it seems to me a good point, all the lies always come out, so if I were you I would have done the same because it is wrong to hide something as serious as a crime of any kind.
ReplyDeleteI think that you can help the innocent person. You need evidence about that he didn't do any crime . Next, you can report to the police about your friend, you need to show your friend that life is difficult! :)
ReplyDeleteI like your point of view and you honesty. Interesting and good blog
ReplyDeleteI believe that promises should never be broken but I believe that in this case it is necessary because it is not fair to pay for the crimes and mistakes of others :))
ReplyDeleteit is better to tell the truth be honest because you are helping your friend be honest than a bad friend better cover it and do not correct it if you are a true friend you help her you advise her and you do the right thing and honesty is one of the values most important that they teach us .
ReplyDeleteGREAT JOB!
